Faith Lutheran Troy A+++ This is our home parish and Pastor Joe did an amazing job on the ceremony. It started raining after the ceremony so we stayed at the church a little longer and took pictures throughout the building waiting for the rain to pass.
Farina's Banquets A Brooke was amazing to work with from the beginning. She answered all my crazy emails promptly. I dropped everything off to Brooke the Thursday before the wedding and it was all set up correctly for us with no worries. We got the all inclusive package which included upgraded linens, chair covers, centerpieces, DJ, champagne toast for all guests, 6 course family style meal, fresh fruit and crudites during cocktail hour, premium liquor, valet, coat check. $49.95 per person. The only reason they are not recieving an A+ is that there was only 1 bartender which caused a line throughout the night.
Amanda Williams A+++ Amanda did our engagement pictures and we couldn't wait to work with her for the wedding. We only have 4 pictures so far but I just know that the rest are going to be amazing as well. She made everyone feel so comfortable for the group photos and I forgot she was even at the reception because she was so discrete. She books up fast but if you can book her I highly recommend it! $1,350
Irish Rose for Centerpieces A+ The centerpieces were included in our package with the hall. I had a vision in my mind and they made it happen. I think the roses in the centerpieces looked better than in the bouquets
Viviano's Flowers for bouquets, boutaineers and corsages. B- I loved my bouquet it was what I imagined but the roses seemed to wilt quickly. Also they forgot 2 boutaineers for our ushers. I expected so much more from such a reputable company. approx $700
Hermanns Bakery, Royal Oak A+ This was included with the package at Farina's too. The cake was amazing and I can't wait to get our anniversary cake, you get a free one.
Alessandra's Bridal in Warren B+ I loved my dress and hairpiece and Flavia was amazing at helping pick them out. However, I think they alterations are a little on the expensive side and my dress was sliding down throughout the day. dress, veil, jewerly and alterations $1,400. Bridesmaids between $180-200
Davids Bridal A We purchased 2 junior bridesmaids dresses and surprisingly had no troubles!
QuikPicz A There was a few communication delays but besides that everything was great. We had 6 hours with unlimited pictures, 2 copies, scrapbook and prop box for $600. Everyone enjoyed themselves amazing and I am glad we have a copy on cd of all the pictures.
Luxury Limosine, Macomb C. The limo bus broke down on the way to drop the guys off at the church. They replaced it with an escalade which was so much smaller. The reason I wanted a limo bus was so me and the girls didn't need to crawl into the limo. Our driver said they were going to send us something bigger after the ceremony but that never happened.
Exclusively Weddings A. We got our invitations and the groomsmen gift from here. One of the gifts broken when we receieved and they replaced it no questions asked very quickly.
President Tuxedo A No problems that weren't corrected right away.
Hotel Block Hampton Inn, Madison Heights/Troy A. Tonya worked with me to make sure that everyone was included in our block and given information on the suttle to and from the reception.
Travel Agent: Shelly Andrus with Brookside Travel A+ Shelly was awesome with getting us suggestions for our honeymoon. She even gave us advice as to what to do at and around the resort.
Sandals Grande Riveria and Beach Club A++++. Our butlers Jackie and Stanford took care of everything for us. They even upgraded our room for free. The people in Jamaica are so happy and you can tell by the workers here. The resort is HUGE and if you are looking for something quaint and liadback, this isn't for you. I recommend going to Valentinos for dinner at least once. The food is amazing. You can only get reservations if you have a butler, so if you don't prepare for a wait, but its worth it. We did 2 excursions, the Dunns River Falls Katamaran cruise and Dolphin Cove swimming with the dolphins, both were awesome experiences.
